Judd – 9 Months

FullSizeRender (1)

Weight: 20 pounds. Hasn’t gained much weight, but has grown in length.

Length: 30 inches

Percentile: 95th for height and head, 75th for weight

Diaper Size: Size 4

Clothes Size: 12-18 months tops, 9-12 month bottoms

Feeding: Just like big brother, he will eat and eat and eat until you decide to quit feeding him. LOVES blueberries. Has about 3 – 5/6 ounce bottles a day, followed by an 8-ounce bedtime bottle and maybe 4 ounces during the night. Yes, I know, he doesn’t need a bottle in the middle of the night, but we’re working on it.

Sleeping: We were doing so good and BAM! A 3-day fever hit and all we know is it was because of teeth. We experienced night terrors while we were visiting family in Iowa and they were no fun. They are not nightmares, they are a whole nother beast. Judd is not awake or coherent when he wakes up, his eyes are not open, but he cries inconsolably until it passes or he wakes up. It’s has been like having a colicky newborn all over again. We are surviving. Throw separation anxiety, teeth and the 9 month sleep regression together and it’s not helping the idea of having another baby.

Family adjustment: Hank and Judd are playing together now. Judd likes to be anywhere Hank is, tormenting him. 😉

Likes: Singing. Judd loves to be sang to and is enjoying all the nursery rhymes. He also enjoys peek-a-boo, Mommy and being held, and Dad is now a close second.

Dislikes: Sleep.

Milestones: Crawling all over the place and in to everything! He’s finally sitting up and can sit and play pretty well. Loves to chew and teethe on all toys and books. Waves hello and good bye. He self-feeds fairly well and has 6 teeth. 4 across the top, 2 on the bottom.
