I forgot to take the picture at 7 months, so this one was close enough and it will have to do.

Feeding: Wow! Is all I can say after the first couple of weeks of this month. After Judd’s 6 month appointment when his double ear infection was discovered and he was placed on amoxicillin, he finally started feeling better. Hallelujah!! This poor kid hasn’t felt well since the end of February, so close to 2 months of no consistent eating or sleeping, he is making up for lost time.
He had quit all solids before the appointment, couldn’t find anything he liked. After about 2 days on his antibiotic, he was feeling so much better. He began to eat food again and also eating bottles like. no. other. Seriously, if I had to guess, he had to be eating close to 50 oz. in a day. I stepped up the food game to breakfast, lunch and supper trying to stay ahead of it, but still he wanted the ungodly amount of milk. He began waking up 2 times a night for 6 ounce bottles each time. It lasted, what seemed like an eternity. Nathan and I were absolute zombies from being up for most of the night.
However, after about 2 weeks, it started to tame down and he even slept through the night, the night before Mother’s Day. It does get better. He went back to the doctor for his check up the day after Mother’s Day and had gained 2 pounds and 2 inches in 2 weeks!
Sleeping: Absolutely terrible. For a good week to 10 days he was waking up twice a night and was sleeping very restlessly. It started to level out and we even got a full night of sleep one night. However, he still on average waking once a night to eat about 4-5 ounces.
Family adjustment: We’ve settled in pretty well as a family of 4. Judd just loves being acknowledged by his brother, but Hank can be pretty rough with him lately. Including wrestling, stepping on him etc.
Likes: He loves attention. Loves to be held and interacted with.
Dislikes: Being left alone in a room.
Milestones: Eating 3 meals a day, still saying “ba-ba”, rolling every where like crazy.
