Judd – 2 Months

FullSizeRender (1)

Weight: 12 pounds 9 ounces

Length: 24 inches

Percentile: 75 – 90

Diaper Size: Size 2

Clothes Size: Some 3-6 month and some 6 month.

Feeding: The beginning of the month was still rough, but with the introduction of formula, it allowed me to chill. Just as with Hank, at about 6 weeks we made a turn for the better and Judd started to sleep a 3 hour stretch after 9-10 pm, which helped tremendously. He would then get up to eat anywhere between 12-1 am and then begin his every 2 hour schedule and sometimes Nathan would take him downstairs about 4 am to rock him or give him a bottle so I could sleep until 6-6:30 am.

I went back to work for a couple days when Judd was 6 weeks old and Grandma kept him. He was eating about 2.5 ounces every 2 hours at that time. I had given up on pumping to get a stockpile so he had both formula bottles and breast milk bottles (of what I was able to stash away.)

Towards the end of the month we began to get in a little bit of a bedtime schedule. Bath time at 7, Formula bottle at 7:30, Bed between 9-10pm. At 8 weeks I went back to work for 3 full days straight. Judd had only formula bottles the first day back, but I continued to pump while at work. I’m only a little bit shy of pumping what he is eating at daycare.

Sleeping: 3 hour stretch to start bedtime, followed by 2 – 2 hour stretches, then wide awake, with maybe 2 or so hours of naps during the day.

Family adjustment: Hank has adjusted very well, still rough houses a little with Judd, but for the most part loves him and is very sweet. Hank is still waking up randomly some nights, but goes back to sleep when Nathan goes in to lay with him. We have even began to potty train when Hank asks to go.

Likes: Being awake, being held, and getting his diaper changed.

Dislikes: Sleep.

Milestones: He gives the biggest smiles when being tickled. He coos and is so alert.
