I can’t believe I am this late on his post! I will post his growth picture as soon as we take it. For now…enjoy!
Weight: 20.5 pounds
Length: 30 inches
Percentile: 95% for height and 50% for weight
Diaper Size: Size 3
Clothes Size: Some 12 months and almost in all 18 months.
Feeding: On all table food. Some of his favorites include, broccoli, salmon, catfish and peaches on his waffle.
Breakfast for Hank usually includes: A handful of mulitgrain cheerios to buy Mom and Dad extra time in the morning to finish getting ready and then we move onto baby oatmeal with a couple fruit cubes mixed in or a waffle microwaved for 30 seconds with a melted peach or apple fruit cube on top to soften it up. He eats all breakfast foods, but these are our go tos.
Lunch for Hank usually includes: What daycare offers. To be honest, I don’t ever know what it is, but it is always balanced. On weekends, it can be deli ham, cheese stick, pita bread and applesauce or whatever we are having. I try to always offer vegetables at the meals I serve Hank.
Dinner for Hank usually includes: Whatever is on the menu for Mom and Dad. Fajitas, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rice, chicken noodle soup etc. We give him bite size pieces to pick up himself or feed him off the spoon. He gets a good mixture of both.
Sleeping: Sleeps 10 hours, if not close to 12 at night. Still takes an hour-hour and a half nap, as well as a long afternoon nap upwards of 3 hours.
Likes: Getting into everything! We cannot turn our backs for one second.
Dislikes: Fevers. Hank broke a couple fevers, one around 103 and one about 101. Whisked him to the doctor and he said he was just a virus that needed to run it’s course. Hank developed a rash after the fact that lasted about a week. It was a red pin dot rash that did not have open sores or itch. I had heard many terms for it, but never knew exactly what it was.
Favorite Books: Peek-a-Baby books. Hank will only sit still for these books or other flap-peek books.
Favorite Toys: Still common household or baby items. We don’t have many toys, but Hank doesn’t seem to mind.
Discoveries: Everything, everyday it is something new. Hank is so fascinated by farm equipment and mechanical things. He is a typical boy. 🙂
Milestones: Hank has started to shake his head from side to side, as if to say no no, but there is no association with that yet. He now stands up in his crib and waits for us. He had been waving hi by raising his arm and grabbing the air, but now his little fingers wiggles, as if he really is waving hello and goodbye. I love it.
We have also upgraded to our convertible “cow” seat.
